I'm on a Disney theme today I guess. Anyways, yesterday I went to a race out in Fontana (CA) with a group of people. It was a very interesting & fun experience, even though I'm not all that into racing (and the Vermont-influenced "green" part of me says that it has got to be the worst sport for the environment because they burn through who knows how much oil & gas in any given race). The race track was the model for the final race in Cars, but I don't really know how one race track is different than another (they seem really similar to me, really), but there you go. I should really re-watch the movie and see if I can see any similarities...(I can't remember if the above scene is from the first race or the last one, but I think it's the first one because the score board (or whatever they call it in racing) has more than 3 players..or rather, cars, on it).
